Ayodeji Ibrahim, known professionally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter.

He recently gained immense international fame after collaborating with big name musicians such as Drake, Tinnie Tempah, Chris Brown, Wale, Tyga, Banky W., Akon, Don Jazzy, Rihanna, and more.

Wizkid began his career in 2001 when he was just 11 years old. Several years later, he signed onto the record label Empire Mates Entertainment, under Banky W. In 2010, he gained fame with his song Holla at Your Boy from his Superstar studio album. In 2014, he released his second studio album titled Ayo. During this time, he was named by Forbes as “Top 10 Richest/Bankable African Artists”.

Last year, in 2016, Wizkid collaborated with Canadian rapper Drake in One Dance, which rose him even higher into stardom. In March 2017, he left E.M.E. records and signed a deal with RCA Records.
