Kate Henshaw-Nuttal

Ngozi Ezeonu is a Nigerian actress who has starred in over 150 films. Her best-known role to date is in the 2012 film “Adesuwa”.

Before she became an actress, Ezeonu worked in the field as a journalist and even tried a career in fashion. Eventually, Ezeonu found that she preferred to focus on her four daughters and husband.

After some time, she began her acting career. Some of her most successful films include “The Pretty Serpent”, “Family Secret”, “Glamor Girls”, “Cry of a Virgin”, “Shattered Mirror”, “Tears of a Prince”, and “Abuja Top Ladies”.

In 2012, her role in “Adesuwa” won her the Best Actress in a Supporting Role award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. Ezeonu is considered to be a role model in Nollywood and for her fans, making her one of the most celebrated actresses in Nigeria.
