O'Shea Jackson, better known by his stage name Ice Cube, is an American rapper, record producer, actor, screenwriter, film producer, and director.

He began his career as a member of the hip-hop group C.I.A. and later joined N.W.A. Considered the founder of “gangsta rap”, he has been hailed by the music industry as one of the best rappers or MCs of all time. Over the years, he has collaborated with a number of popular artists, including Nate Dogg, Tupac Shakur, Lil Jon & the Eastside Boyz, and many more.

Ice Cube began his acting career in the 1991 film “Boyz n the Hood”, followed by “Trepass”, “Poetic Justice”, “The Glass Shield”, “Anaconda”, “Dangerous Ground”, “Barbershop”, “All About the Benjamins”, and made his directorial debut with “The Player's Club” and “Next Friday”.

His other most notable roles were in “Barbershop 2: Back to Business”, “Are We There Yet?”, “XXX: State of the Union”, “XXx: Return of Xander Cage”, “Are We Done Yet?”, “Ride Along” (1&2), “Barbershop: The Next Cut”, “21 Jumpstreet”, “Fist Fight”, and “22 Jumpstreet”.

Since 1992, he has been married to Kimberly Woodruff, with whom he has four children, all in their 20s.
