We can't forget to mention the night's best-dressed stars, many of whom are no stranger to the red carpet and are well-known for their stylish ensembles when it comes to award shows. While several of these stars may not have taken home an Oscar, they absolutely won in the night's best-dressed category:

Daniel Kaluuya
The "Get Out" star perfectly defines the meaning of casual cool with a camel tone blazer over a polished suit and a satin bow-tie.

Taraji P. Henson
Sultry yet oh-so-elegant, the "Proud Mary" actress once again steals the red carpet spotlight.

Emily Blunt
The "A Quiet Place" star takes us back in time with her pale blue, mesh-overlay high-neck gown, a look that suggests she is both classy and sweet.

Armie Hammer
The "Call Me By Your Name" star not only blew us away with his performance as the lead role of Oliver but also with his impeccable choice of suit. Hammer diverts our attention from the bright red carpet to his sophisticated oxblood velour suit and black bowtie. This suit is definitely in need of its own Oscar.

Nicole Kidman
The "Big Little Lies" actress dons yet another one of the night's statement-making gowns - a royal blue corset gown which we will surely see on the glossy pages of all of next month's big-name fashion magazines.

Lupita Nyong'o
She blew us away in "Black Panther" and she has now blown us away with her shimmery black and gold Versace gown and stunning hair accessory. We know that she is no stranger in the fashion world so is it really such a surprise that she made it onto our list?

James Ivory
A rather interesting twist on an otherwise plain white button-up, "Call Me By Your Name" director James Ivory decided to take his ensemble one step further by having Timothée Chalamet's face imprinted on his shirt! He must have known that an Oscar was coming and that Timothée Chalamet would be his lucky charm.

Sofia Carson
Disney Channel star Sofia Carson made her Oscar debut with a Giambattista Valli cape gown that is literally fit for a superhero...and we love it! Is this Marvel's discreet way of telling us that she will be in an upcoming "Avengers" movie? Hmm...

Chadwick Boseman
Not only does the Black Panther rule Wakanda and show us the true meaning of a great king, he also rules on the red carpet with his sleek, embroidered Givenchy Couture blazer, futuristic shoes (hey, did Shuri make those?) and signature smile.

What's even better? He yelled "Wakanda Rules" on the red carpet proving that yes, he really is that awesome!

Betty Gabriel
The "Get Out" star's Tony Ward Couture gown is fit for a mermaid princess and gives us major "The Shape of Water" vibes. This is yet another gown that deserves it's own Oscar.
