Hollywood News
Top Talent Hired for Warner Animation
Warner is amping up it's animation department and it seems the focus is going to be on Looney Tunes characters.  Tom and Jerry, Wiley Coyote and Space Jam movies are all in the works and the plan is to have all three as live-action / animation hybrids.

What is exciting to see is that Warner is really pushing for both studios - live action and animation - to work closely together, which is not so usual in other major studios.  WB hopes to bring Tim Story ("Ride Along" and "Think Like a Man" movies) on board for the new "Tom and Jerry".  Lebron James has already signed up for the next Space Jam movie, with Ryan Coogler ("Black Panther" director) producing and Terence Nance directing.

As well as the Looney Tunes movies, we have a new Scooby-Doo movie expected for 2020 and "The Lego movie 2" next February.  It seems it's full steam ahead for Warner Animation Group - we can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeve!

"Possession Of Hannah Grace" - The Terrifying Trailer!

Amy Winehouse Biopic
7 years after the iconic singer's tragic death, and after being approached numerous times by filmmakers, Amy Winehouse's family has signed a deal with Monumental Pictures to make a biopic.

Proceeds from the movie will go towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation, set up by her family to help prevent drug and alcohol abuse.  The singer became an icon in her 20s, with her soulful voice and distinct style becoming instantly recognizable, and she connected with fans all over the world with her music.
She died at the young age of 27 after a long battle with substance abuse.  Her father said in a statement that the family is "now able to celebrate Amy's extraordinary life and talent".

Alison Owen and Debra Howard are to produce the biopic, with Geoff Dean writing the screenplay.  This is still in the very early stages, but we will definitely keep you posted as usual!
