The BON Awards Announces Hosts And Event Date

The award's season is taking the world by storm starting with The Best of Nollywood Awards 2018. The 10th annual BON Awards, hosted by Helen Paul and Keppy Ekpenyong Edet Bassey, is almost here. It will be on December 9,2018, are you excited?

This event brings together the best of Nollywood to put on a show that brings awareness and recognition to the outstanding talent in the Nollywood film industry ranging from directors to actors to movies.

Get An Inside Look Into “Chief Daddy”

"Chief Daddy", written by Bode Asinyanbi and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan is the must-see movie this December! The movie has a mix of Nollywood stars including Bisola Aiyeola, Dakore Egubson-Akande, Chinedu 'Nedu’ Ani, and more. With such a star- studded cast, it’s no surprise that this movie is so anticipated.


The movie centers around Chief Beecroft, an altruistic billionaire, and his family. Beecroft, also known as Chief Daddy, is his family’s go-to adviser, but what happens when Chief Daddy passes away? The story will follow Chief Daddy’s family and how they deal with his passing in their own special way. 


This movie is sure to be the perfect blend of love, drama, and comedy. Are you going to watch it?

Check Out “The Lion King” Trailer!

"The Lion King" is the next Disney Film to enter into the live action world. The trailer gives a brief overview of the movie imitating the opening sequence in the animated movie with Simba being born and, then, introduced to the kingdom. 


The plot will follow Simba throughout his life, and all the trouble he is sure to get into, as he gets closer and closer to his destiny of becoming the lion king.

"Artemis Fowl" Is Coming To Life

2018 is the year of Disney. Walt Disney Studios has released another teaser trailer this month for none other than “Artemis Fowl.” Disney’s “Artemis Fowl” will bring the beloved young adult book series to life.


The book centers on Artemis Fowl II, a twelve-year old prodigy, as he leads his family's criminal empire. Through his research, Artemis discovers the existence of fairies and with the help of his bodyguard, Butler, successfully captures a fairy, Captain Holly Short, and holds her for ransom. Does Artemis capture the fairy to grow his criminal empire or is there another reason? We’ll have to wait and see.

The Harley Quinn Movie Finally Has A Title


It’s been a couple years since "Suicide Squad", and since then Harley Quinn has become the new favorite female villain. For all those Harley Quinn fans out there, get ready to celebrate because there is a Harley Quinn spinoff movie in the works.

In fact, Margot Robbie who plays Harley Quinn posted a picture on image on Instagram with the title of the movie. The Harley Quinn movie will be titled “Birds of Prey: The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.” 

Yes, that is the official title; Warner Brothers confirmed it on its Twitter account. The movie is yet to release a trailer or a mini synopsis, but we're excited to see what kind of crazy adventures Harley gets up to.
