Opening Weekend Success for "Chief Daddy"
Last weekend, the highly anticipated "Chief Daddy" premiered,  and it did not disappoint!
Excluding advance and private screenings, the movie raked in a whopping N40 million in it's opening weekend, according to EbonyLife Films.  This is the second biggest opening weekend at the box office for a Nigerian movie this year and is the third biggest opening weekend ever for a Nigerian movie.

FilmOne Distribution's Moses Babatope congratulated Mo Abudu of EbonyLife Films and the director and cast of "Chief Daddy", as well as pointing out that the success of the movie "maintains Nollywood's 12 consecutive weeks of dominance at the top of the Nigerian box office since September 28."

So, if 2018 is anything to go by, we're sure to see the hits continue in the new year!  Have you seen "Chief Daddy" yet?  Let us know if it lives up to the hype!
